Privacy
Policy
At AbiLean Training, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our website and training services.
Information We Collect
We collect information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked to you ("Personal Information"). The specific data points collected may change as our services evolve, but generally include:
- Contact & Identity Information: This includes, but is not limited to, your name, email address, phone number, physical address, and any other identifiers you provide via contact forms or registration.
- Health & Wellness Profile: Information regarding your physical condition, fitness goals, injury history, and session-specific performance data used to track your progress.
- Transaction & Billing Data: Details necessary to process payments, such as billing address and payment method. All financial transactions are handled via secure third-party processors.
- Account & Activity Data: Information related to your scheduling history, login credentials for our portal, and records of your communications with us.
- Connected Google Calendar Data: Only if you opt in by connecting a Google account from your account settings, we access your Google Calendar data (events and free/busy times) to synchronize your training sessions. This integration is entirely optional. See the "Google Calendar Integration" section below for full details.
How We Use Your Information
Your data is used to provide, maintain, and improve our training services, including:
- Service Delivery: Managing schedules, tracking training sessions, and providing personalized coaching.
- Business Operations: Processing payments, invoicing, and maintaining internal records.
- Communication: Sending technical notices, updates, and administrative messages.
- Marketing: We may occasionally send you information about new programs, promotions, or health tips. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time via the "Unsubscribe" link in our emails or by contacting us directly.
Google Calendar Integration
Connecting your Google Calendar is completely optional. The integration is never enabled by default — it activates only if you choose to opt in by connecting your Google account from the settings menu, and you can disconnect it again at any time from the same place.
AbiLean Training's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Access: If you opt in and connect your Google account from the settings menu, we request the Google Calendar "calendar.events" scope so we can add your booked training sessions to your calendar and keep them up to date if a session is rescheduled or cancelled. We request the "calendar.readonly" scope so we can check your existing schedule and offer you times that fit without creating conflicts. We also request the basic "openid", "email", and "profile" scopes to identify the Google account you connect.
- Usage: This data is used solely to keep your training schedule and your Google Calendar in sync — automatically adding each session you book, updating or removing it when plans change, and reading your availability so you're only offered times that work for you. We never use your Google Calendar data for advertising, profiling, or any other secondary purpose.
- Storage: We store the authorization tokens for the Google account you connect, its email and display name, and basic details (such as the IDs, names, and time zones) of the calendars involved in syncing your sessions. This information is held securely for as long as your connection remains active. You may disconnect your Google account at any time, which deletes the stored credentials and calendar details.
- Sharing: We do not share, sell, or transfer your Google Calendar data to any third party, advertising network, or data broker. It is accessed only by the limited infrastructure needed to operate the calendar-sync feature on your behalf, and is never used to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will indicate when the latest changes were made. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
